Fellowship Community

Our fellowship community meets 1st and 3rd Wednesday for Warrior Fellowship.  It is a family oriented group that’s comprised of people of all ages. We love this opportunity to get to know everyone better and grow stronger in the Lord with a shared potluck meal, teaching from God’s Word with discussion and prayer.

Gather by the Fire

Throughout the year we host our Gathering by the Fire, a time of worship, with local Christian artist. We want this to be an evening for our Ranch Families get to know each other. We believe that the Christian walk is FUN and should not be done alone. Come, relax and enjoy one another’s company around a campfire.

If you are musically or artistically talented, share that with us.

In June and August we plan on adding some Summer Days. These two summer events are the perfect opportunity for kids to just be kids, and for adults to be kids too! We invite all to join the fun and games. FYI the activities could be messy and wet; so wear your sloppy clothes or a swim suit with cover-up. No RSVP necessary . . . just show up!

Old Settlers Parade

The Old Settlers Parade in Kahoka is an event we participate in every year on a Saturday the end of September. Son Valley has a float, we bring a few horses and an enthusiastic group of ranch volunteers, kids and families. We will need lots of help riding in the float, holding banners, operating the manure carts and our Wranglers ride the horses.

Harvest Hoedown – Everyone is Welcome

This annual event takes place the 1st or 2nd Sunday in October and is our biggest fundraiser. It is enjoyed by kids, families, visitors, staff and volunteers of SVYR.  Horse Carrot Race, bid on the fastest or hungriest horse (pony!) Come ready for games, pony rides, live music, Pluck-a-Duck, and a catered lunch. No need to RSVP . . . y’all just come!
